Higley served as Construction Manager at Risk for Cleveland Clinic’s new Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center. This three-story facility contains a kidney dialysis tenant on the ground floor and offices, exam rooms, community meeting space, and an “Iron Chef” Teaching Kitchen on the top floor. The specialty services in the building include rheumatology, urology, gastroenterology, pulmonary medicine, dermatology, pediatric care, and a full-service outpatient pharmacy. It also houses a formal hospital Navigation Center, one of the first in Ohio. The site includes surface parking.

Project Achievements 

• Worked on a design-assist basis with four (4) subcontractors to fast track this project.
• Involved local elementary students in the making of jobsite signage.
• Construction completed accident free.
• Project earned LEED® Silver Certification (September 2012).
• Working in partnership with our diversity consultants, APB & Associates, Inc. to execute a comprehensive scope of services, we dramatically exceeded the owner’s diverse participation goals. Diverse firms received $9.4 million or nearly 67% of the trade contracts. Final diverse workforce representation totaled 31%.
