Higley served as Construction Manager at Risk for the $22 Million,  165,000 SF renovation of the Courtyard by Marriott location in Downtown Detroit.

The project includes extensive renovations to all 260 guest rooms and suites, corridors, and the modernization of key amenities including building elevators, fitness center, locker rooms, ballrooms, meeting & event spaces, and back-of-house administrative offices. As part of the renovation, all exterior windows of the 21-story building are being replaced, ensuring both aesthetic enhancement and energy efficiency. Throughout the entirety of the project, the hotel remained fully operational
