MCDONALD HOPKINS | OFFICE RENOVATION | CLEVELAND, OHIO
Higley served as Construction Manager at Risk for the $6.5 Million renovation of the 20th, 21st and 22nd floors for McDonald Hopkins in the Fifth Third Center Building downtown Cleveland. The work was completed in two (2) phases. The initial phase involved the demolition and reconstruction of the 22nd floor, wherein all walls were dismantled, and MEPs were removed except for the main lines.
The fire alarm system remained intact, and the AV/low voltage backbone was preserved. New branches for MEP were strategically installed off the mains, accompanied by the introduction of demountable partitions in all offices and conference rooms. Additionally, new coffee bars and kitchens were incorporated into the space.
